time/being

This work considered the impact of technology on the future. Using practice-based research, this research developed experimental art and design approaches to test how art and design could take a more active and critical role in our understanding technological futures. It did this by exploring the intimate and involuntary experiences of mediated space of 40 individuals separated by distance, asking them to tell their story of this experience.

The resulting works offered a unique perspectives on experiences of mediated space, and the ways in which it shapes and defines us.  The artwork contains narrative stories of those experiences within each sculpture.
